Thursday, December 15, 2011: Stepping up her attack against the Centre, Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa today accused Prime Minister Manmohan Singh of remaining silent on the Mullaperiyar dam row.She told, “I had written to him (Singh) on November 23 asking him to direct Kerala not to create panic on the safety of dam for political gains even as a case was pending before the Supreme Court. It is more than 20 days since I had written that letter but the Centre is silent and not acting”.
