Sunday, 18 December 2011: The district party congress of the Communist Party of (India) Marxist (CPM) held at here, re-elected Kadakampally Surendran as the district secretary of the party, the three-day congress that concluded here on Saturday.There are 41 members in the Thiruvananthapuram district committee including three area secretaries.
