HC notice to government on posting of pleaders

KOCHI: The Kerala High Court on Thursday issued notice to the state government on a petition filed against the appointment of 11 Government Pleaders at the High Court.
Justice K Surendra Mohan passed the order while considering the petition filed by G Ananthanarayan challenging the appointment of the Government Pleaders.
According to the petitioner, the appointments were made without the knowledge of the Advocate General.
Some persons who were posted as Government Pleaders had not filed a single case before the High Court, the petitioner said.
