Candidates feel exam easier, this time


KOCHI: Around 35,000 candidates registered from the state for the All-India Pre-Medical Entrance examination conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education on Sunday. Around 23,000 candidates registered for the examination from Kochi and 12,000 from Thiruvananthapuram.
The examinations were held at 52 centres across the state, 23 in Kochi and 16 in Thiruvananthapuram, said the examination authority from New Delhi.
The examinations were conducted in a smooth manner with no untoward incident this time.
The candidates who came out of the centres look relieved and said the papers were easy in general.
“Biology was easy and was based on the Class XII syllabus, Chemistry was okay but Physics was tough with high order questions,” said Aysha Nazar from MES Indian School, Doha, who wrote her exam at Bhavan’s Varuna Vidyalaya, Thrikkakara.
“The papers were easier than last year’s; Biology was easy and I concentrated on that; Physics and Chemistry were okay, I hope to get a seat this time,” said Aarathy S from Kozhikode who wrote the exam from Christu Jayanthi Public School, Kakkanad.
