Neyyattinkara by-poll: O Rajagopal will become BJP candidate
Saturday, April 21, 2012: Former Union Minister O Rajagopal will be contesting in the Neyyattinkara by-election as a BJP candidate. The BJP has not yet officially declared the candidature of Rajagopal.
The decision to field Rajagopal was unanimously taken at the party’s State Committee meeting, delegates’ meeting, and election committee on Thursday.
An official declaration will only be made after Rajagopal gets the divine permission from his mentor Mata Amritananda Mayi. Sources inside BJP said the official declaration will be made in two days.
CPI (M) candidate F Lawrence, a member of the Parassala Block Panchayat and a comparatively unknown politician in Neyyattinkara, Thursday, started his election campaign. UDF candidate Selvaraj also kicked off his campaign in the constituency.

CPM needs to ensure selvaraj's defeat and large number of votes will flow to BJP. Also regional congress leaders and traditional gandhians are not happy about selvaraj's candidature. This will lead the best shot for BJP's O Rajagopal...
He is the only man who has put incredible efforts for kerala railways when he was deputy minister in Vajpayee Govt..
Look around kerala how many new trains he introduced,
how many new stations he installed, how many stations upgraded to model stations..
how many railway bridges and highway overbridges...
Those who travel from Calicut to Kannur, they know how many level crossings where converted into over-bridges when BJP was in power.
Just compare with UPA govt and Vajpayee govt..
People of Neyyattinkara got a wonderful opportunity to create history by electing Sri. Rajettan. Because....

People of Neyyattinkara have a chance to elect a clean person who cannot be termed as a politician in the true meaning of present-day-politicians at all. So,use your chance; kick out of the 'kandam chaadikal'. Kick out the 'kolayalikal'. Kick out the '2G scamsters'.
