Two found dead on rail track

THALASSERY: Bodies of two persons were found on the railway track after the duo were hit by a moving train near the Punnol Makkootam railway gate near here on Friday. The dead, identified as T K Sreejith, 27, and Ashna, 19, both natives of Panur, are suspected to have jumped in front of the Intercity Express, the police said.
