THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Groupism in the Congress may reach a new level if Ganesh kumar is made a minister. If that happens, I Group may dare to go for an open ‘fight’ with Ganesh Kumar and Oommen Chandy.
Reports reaching here say if there is any move to induct Ganesh into the cabinet at the instance the chief minister, I group will register its protest and dissatisfaction with the high command.
It is reported that KPCC president V M Sudheeran will also not favour the induction of Ganesh into the cabinet. Though he has not made any public statement in this regard, he may clarify his stand in party conclaves.
Meanwhile, expectation are high in Kerala Congress-B camp. They are sure that Ganesh will be made a minister again in the cabinet shake-up. They say the chief minister had given them the assurance in this regard. A few leaders close to Ganesh have also shared this secret of Ganesh’s possible elevation with certain leaders of Congress allies.
