THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: James Committee has annulled the admissions given to MBBS seats by Palakkad Karuna Medical College last year. The committee has informed this to Health University and its action follows the College’s failure to follow admission norms.
Following the allegation that there has been no transparency in the admission procedures of College, the committee instructed the college to submit before it all papers related to the admission. But when the college management failed to obey the instruction, the committee made all admissions void.
Last year also the health university had derecognised 50 percent of the MBBS seats of Karuna Medical College as the college failed to comply with the norms set by Medical Council.
