KASARGOD: The bodies of Nafeer of Thalassery and Shaheem of Kozhikode, killed by a quotation gang in connection with a gold deal, were retrieved on Monday. The bodies of the two were recovered from Balanadukka in Kasargod. Three persons were arrested in connection with the incident. The details of the place where the bodies were buried were obtained from them during interrogation. The police brought them there and recorded their statements.
The arrested were Munafath Munafir Sanaf of Kasargod, Muhammed Rizwan and Muhammed Irshad of Anangur. An employee of a jewellery shop and a gold dealer were taken into custody. A quotation gang was hired to murder the two after they fled with 4.5 kilos of gold handed over to them by a gold smuggling team.
