Tuesday, August 9, 2011: Former Home Minister and CPM leader Kodiyeri Balakrishan on Tuesday said that continuance of Oommen Chandy as the Chief Minister will affect the probe against him. He said that Chandy should quit as Chief Minister. Kodiyeri had said at a press conference on Monday that Chandy needs to quit the Vigilance portfolio. Meanwhile, Oommen Chandy announced the decision to quit the vigilance portfolio today morning.
