Sabarimala temple to open July 16

 Sunday, July 03, 2011: The Lord Ayyappa Temple at Sabarimala will open for pujas in the Malayalam month of Karkidakam at 5.30 p.m. on July 16. Routine and special pujas will be performed from July 17 to 21. The temple will close at 10 p.m. on July 21 to reopen at 5.30 p.m. on July 22 for the Nira puthari celebrations the next day. It will close at 10 p.m. on the day.
