Friday, August 19, 2011: Chief Minister Oommen Chandy today opined that the state government would take necessary steps for the completion of title deed distribution to all deserving adivasi families in the state in a time bound manner. Chandy was inaugurating the state-level ‘pattaya mela’ (title deed distribution) held here on Friday. The UDF government will not permit any sort of land encroachments, CM added.
Chandy stated that the government was committed to return the land of the adivasi families that has been illegally taken over by the land grabbers. Revenue Minister Thiruvanchoor Radhakrishnan presided over the function.
