Fake website in Sreemathy’s name, doctor held

T’PURAM: A doctor has been arrested for insulting former minister P K Sreemathy after creating a fake website in her name.  The doctor, native of Malappuram, was trapped after an investigation was conducted by the officials of the cyber police. But they haven’t exposed anything about the incident so far. The news regarding the arrest of the doctor has not been revealed due to the intervention of some including a union minister.

When there were days left for the VS Govt to expire, Sreemathy delivered a speech in English which had some grammatical mistakes. This was uploaded in the YouTube and the link to the speech was posted in the website created in her name.

If anyone searches her name in the internet, the link directly goes to the speech. The video had many hits and those visited had posted comments too.
As a complaint was lodged to the cyber police after the act stained the image of the government, the website was stopped. Not only that the links were also deleted.
