Wednesday, August 17, 2011: The Kerala High Court on Wednesday cancelled the entrance exam conducted by the self-financing managements for management seats.
Justice Antony Dominic, who considered the case, said that the examination was not held in a transparent manner and the government must take over the seats.
The order also states that management should make admission from the govt list and the managements must also give the court fees. The Court also observed that the examination conducted by the management did not have recognition and did not comply with justice PA Muhammad committee observations.
The examination was held on July 14 to 420 management seats of 11 self-financing colleges by reaching an agreement with the government. 1,218 candidates appeared for the examination.
