Saturday, August 20, 2011: Justice MA Nisar who probed the Kasargod firing case said that PK Kunhalikutty came to meet him to have discussion over certain issues. His main request to Nisar was to act as mediator to create good political relation between IUML and CPM and asked Nisar to meet Panakkad Thangal with the demand. Kunhalikutty said for protecting the interests of Muslims, CPM is good. Nisar said he did not say any opinion on the same. He said that Kunhalikkutty visited him at his home in Kowdiyar during 1999-2000 period when EK Nayanar was the Chief Minister.
Kunhalikutty also demanded to discuss some issues with Kozhikode district judge Padmanabhan and Sugathakumari. He said he wouldn’t disclose the issues as those were said in faith over him.
