Sunday, August 7, 2011: CPM leader and former Finance Minister Thomas Issac on Sunday demanded probe into the role of Union Home Minister P Chidambaram in the lottery case.
Speaking to the mediapersons, Isaac said that CPM was not afraid ofCBI probe into the lottery case. He alleged that the Central Government was responsible for the delay in CBI probe.
The state government has failed in achieving a special package from the centre, he said. When Mamata Banerjee obtained the package, the state is not even keen in obtaining what it deserved, Isaac said.
