Balakrishna Pillai slaps son’s Private Secretary

Kerala Congress (B) Chairman and former minister R. Balakrishna Pillai slapped on the face of the Private Secretary to his son-cum-Minister K.B. Ganesh Kumar on Wednesday. The unexpected incident happened at 11 am at the MLA office of Ganesh Kumar.


Balakrishna Pillai who arrived there in a car entered the office and caught Pradeep Kumar and slapped on his face six times in the presence of a few people including women. Pradeep Kumar did not react but remained silent.


After this, Pillai stepped out and stamped on Pradeep’s car parked outside. Later, when media persons asked about the incident, Pillai said, “If anybody bet him, let him file a case. Who is he to beat 65 year-old KTUC District President and retired teacher Thomas sir?”


Meanwhile, Ganesh Kumar hesitated to publicly respond to the enquiries of journalists.
