CPI (M) has no connection with last supper painting: Pinarayi

 Sunday, 05 February 2012: CPM State secretary Pinaray Vijayan today said that his party will not have any connection with last supper painting.
Talking to newspersons, Pinarayi Vijayan said that picture was posted not by party members.
Meanwhile Chief Minister, Oommen Chandy today opined that the Communist Party of India (Marxist) CPM had picturised the “Last Supper” painting in a demeaning manner.
The Last Supper is the final meal that, according to Christian belief, Jesus shared with his Apostles in Jerusalem before his crucifixion.
