Ganesh would be freed if ministership is a burden, says Pillai

KOCHI: If the ministerial berth is a burden for Minister K B Ganesh Kumar, then will free him from it, said Kerala Congress (B) leader R Balakrishna Pillai. The post is given to the party and not to a particular person. If he finds the forest department a burden, then should hand it over to the Congress, Pillai said after the party meeting.


Pillai said the party decides the minister and the MLA. The front decides the portfolio. The party can decide whether the minister should continue or not.  The UDF meet to be convened tomorrow will take an apt decision on it.
