Supplyco employees’ strike gets underway

Monday, February 13, 2012: The strike called by Kerala State Civil Supplies Corporation Employees’ Union (CITU) to press its demands for ending deputation of officers to the corporation, introduction of service pension, and implementation of promotions has begun.
It alleged that no new employment opportunities were being created in the corporation because of the existing system of deputation.
