Three including kid killed in accident

KOTTAYAM: Three persons including a kid were killed after their car overturned and fell into a pit at Udyapuram Thazhavungal in Kanjirappara near Kangazha Tuesday morning.


The dead have been identified as Lissy (54) of Kumily, Sona aged two and a half years old and Amal (5). Amal seriously injured died on way to Kottayam medical college hospital.


The injured Nisha (27), her husband Roy (32), Dona (8), their relative Sabu (34) and his brother Saiju (30) are undergoing treatment at Kangazha hospital. Amal was Sabu’s son.


The incident happened when Amal was being taken to the hospital for treatment. The vehicle may have accidentally fallen into the pit while turning.
