SFI-police clash in front of VJT Hall
THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: A scuffle broke out between the SFI activists and the police in front of the VJT Hall just before a meet to be attended by the chief minister. The SFI staged a protest alleging that the government is protecting the guilty in the murder of SFI activist Aneesh Raj.
The scuffle started when the police tried to remove the activists from the place. Stones were pelted towards the police from the University College. The police used tear gas shells to disperse the agitated students. Some cops, students and the media activists were injured in the clash.
