Complaint against actress Padmapriya

KOCHI: M A Nishad, director and producer of No 66 Madhurabus lodged a complaint against actress Padmapriya. His complaint to the producers association stated that he suffered a great loss because of the actress and her manager.


Nishad said the actress was signed for Rs 8 lakhs in his film. But the amount came upto Rs 10 lakhs including the manager’s commission. Nishad said he paid Rs  9,30,000 and the balance amount of Rs 70,000 was kept apart for paying tax.


He said the shooting was disrupted as the actress didn’t turn up for the shooting unless the balance amount is paid. He also alleged that she didn’t turn up for the promotional event also.


Meantime, the actress said she is not aware of the complaint and has not obtained any information from the producers association.
