E.P. Jayarajan hits back at P.C. George

KOCHI: The claim by government chief whip P.C. George that four MLAs in the LDF are ready to join UDF has taken a new turn with CPI (M) central committee member E.P. Jayarajan alleging that four legislators of  Kerala Congress including George had held talks with them and demanded ministership for two for joining the Left front.


E.P. Jayarajan made the allegation soon after P.C. George made the claim regarding the defection plan of MLAs from the LDF. According to him George was ready to defect to LDF with three others from Kerala Congress (M). The proposal was rejected because the CPI (M) did not want to have any truck with a wheeler-dealer like George, he claimed.


P.C. George responding to allegations by Jayarajan called it a blatant lie.
