Kannur corporation opposition leader arrested

Wednesday, July 11, 2012: Kannur corporation Opposition leader Pushparajan was arrested by the police on Wednesday for forcibly taking away the arrested SFI activists from the police custody.


The SFI march held in Kannur in connection with Self financing college issue had turned violent. Following this, the police arrested some of the activists. Later, Pushparajan took out activists forcibly from police station. Some SFI activists who were along with Pushparajan at the police station have gone underground. Police are on the look out for them.
