Kerala to set up aqua clinic

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Kerala has drawn up plans to step up research and studies in the state Fisheries and Marine University, seeking to elevate it as a Centre of Excellence offering modern courses in fisheries and marine studies.


Projects on the anvil include opening an aqua clinic as a facility to take up advanced studies on various diseases and afflictions that affect fish stock and other marine population, Fisheries Department sources said.
