Decision on resignation after party meeting: Mani

KOCHI:  Even as a hue and cry is being raised over Finance Minister K M Mani not coming forward to put in his papers yet, the minister said he would reveal his decision after Tuesday’s Kerala Congress (M) meeting. “There is some conspiracy behind all moves against me. The time will prove who all are behind this,” said Mani, who had reached Kochi.

Mani who had been evading the media following the high court remarks, reached his relatives' Thripunnithura house at around 4:15 pm. As soon as his car entered the house premise, the vehicle was swarmed by media persons and shutterbugs. After that, Mani downed his car’s window pane and spoke a few words to media persons. But he didn’t answer to certain repeated questions.

In the meantime. Left activists burnt Mani in effigy in front of his house and shouted slogans, demanding his resignation.
