Mani stays away from UDF meet

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The UDF meet to be convened at the Cliff House, the official residence of the chief minister, to discuss the resignation of Finance Minister K M Mani is in a deadlock. The meet was scheduled to convene at 9 am. However, the meet was convened by the chief minister, Muslim League and some other congress leaders. Though Mani was at his official residence, he did not attend the meet.

It is not compulsory to convene the UDF meet, Minister P K Kunhalikutty told reporters after his meeting with the chief minister. Unofficial discussions were held now. Meeting with Kerala Congress leaders and other allied parties will be held later, he said.
