THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The venue for the State Youth festival has been shifted from Ernakulam to Kochi, for the reason that the Metro rail work is going on.
The government started thinking about changing the venue as the people expressed the anxiety that frequent traffic jams would hamper the youth festival. Following this, the Capital city got the chance to play host to the festival.
The school youth festival will begin on January 17 and end on 23.
