THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Opposition leader V S Achuthanandan has said that not only the chief minister and finance minister but the whole cabinet ministers should resign, against the backdrop of the high court ruling in the bar bribery case. “This order is like a ‘thrashing on Chief Minister Oommen Chandy with a broom’ for ignoring Opposition’s allegations,” he said at a press conference here on Monday.
The court very politely asked Mani to resign. The remark that Caesar’s wife should be cleaner than him (character-wise) is aimed at Chandy. If he has the slightest bit of shame, the whole cabinet should resign,” VS asserted.
