BJP too opposes fifth cabinet berth to IUML

Monday, April 2, 2012: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) too came out against Muslim League’s demand for fifth cabinet berth.
BJP State President V Muraleedharan has said that the decision to give fifth ministerial berth to Muslim League will cause serious effects.
VS Achuthanandan had on Sunday said, ‘If the demand of IUML for a fifth minister in the UDF Ministry was acceded, it will affect Kerala’s communal structures’.
IUML had been pressing for the fifth ministerial post ever since the UDF government assumed office last year.
