Wednesday 18 May 2011: The promise of the United Democratic Front (UDF) about supplying rice for Rs one will be fulfilled immediately, the minister for Food and Civil Supplies T.M. Jacob said here today. Jacob, who has also the charge of Ports, said that the Vizhinjam project will be implemented at the earliest.
Jacob said that the portfolios he got are challenging and he will settle down after having a clear idea of his work.
