Sunday, July 31, 2011: In a press release, the CPM state secretariat warned Opposition Leader VS Achuthanandan indirectly for his statement on the action taken against those agitated when seat was denied to him. The release said that violation of party discipline is considered seriously. The central committee said that they have not accepted the agitations staged by those owing allegiance to VS when seat was denied to him in the assembly polls.
VS had stated in Kasargod yesterday that action taken against those owing allegiance to him should be re-examined and also termed it as incorrect.
Agitations staged in some phases criticised the party and the leaders. The state panel convened on May 24 and 25 decided to take action against them. Action was taken against some and proceedings against some are continuing.
