Sree Krishna Jayanthi celebrated with religious fervour

Sunday, August 21, 2011: Sree Krishna Jayanthi, the birthday of Lord Krishna, was celebrated in the city with gaiety and religious fervour on Sunday.

A large number of devotees worshipped at the Krishna temples in the city. The Sree Krishna temples at Malayinkeezhu, Vilwamangalam temple, Peroor Krishna temple, Palkulangara temple and Sree Padmanabhaswamy temple witnessed huge gatherings of devotees

Guruvayur Devaswom and the police had made elaborate arrangements to provide better facilities for the thousands of devotees who throng the Sri Krishna temple from Tuesday evening for the celebrations.
