CPM state meet off to a colourful start
THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Red Flag was hoisted marking the beginning of the 20th state conference of the CPM. The flag was hoisted by opposition leader V S Achuthanandan.
General secretary Prakash Karat inaugurated the delegate session at the AKG Hall.
Poliburo members S Ramachandran Pillai, K Varadarajan, Brinda Karat and Sitaram Yechuri are attending the meet.
