KC (B) to take action against Ganesh Kumar

KOCHI: Minister K B Ganesh Kumar may lose his ministership due to the differences of opinion with his father and Kerala Congress (B) chairman R Balakrishnan Pillai. The state committee meet to be convened in Kochi may take a decision against him.

The main agenda of the meet is action against the minister. The meet will be presided over by party chairman R Balakrishna Pillai and vice-chairman Paul Joseph. Ganesh Kumar may not attend the meet. All district committee members have been invited for the meeting.

Some unruly scenes may be witnessed as some committees have come forward announcing support for the minister. Many flex boards have been placed in favour of the minister near the venue of the meet.

A tense situation prevailed in the earlier meet convened in the capital city. A large contingent of police has been deployed in the area to avoid any untoward incidents.

Chief Minister Oommen Chandy and the congress are secretly supporting the lone MLA of KC (B). Ganesh has not accepted the party decision to give up his cabinet post.
