EP Jayarajan lashes out at CK Chandrappan
Sunday, February 12, 2012: CPM leader E.P Jayarajan today came down heavily on the CPI state secretary CK Chandrappan for his outburst against the CPM leaders in the state.
Speaking to the reporters here on Sunday, Jayarajan alleged that Chandrappan’s stand would always prove favourable to the Congress party. Such stands would weaken the CPI party, he added.
On the spat between CPM and CPI in Kerala on the eve of their respective party meets, Chandrappan had said such “irritants” should not be allowed to come in the way of the unity of the Left parties.
In a dig at CPI-M leaders, however, he said while engaging in a political debate it was important to use decent words and expressions and ensure that certain standards were kept even when engaging political rivals.
