Singer K G Markose released in Saudi
DAMAM: Noted playback singer K G Markose, who was arrested and put in Khatif jail in Saudi Arabia, was released after some time.
He was arrested when he came to attend the ganamela organized by the Keralites as part of Indian Republic Day celebrations in Damam.
Reliable sources said the singer was arrested as permission was not obtained for the programme.
