14 February 2012: The nurses of Idukki Sacred Heart Hospital have launched an indefinite strike demanding better wages here on Monday.
A rise in the minimum wage, removal of bonded labour, introduction of working in shifts and to reinstate the dismissed nurses are some of the demands raised by the striking nurses.
