Palakkad: 10 kids injured as school van falls into paddy field

Monday, February 13, 2012: Ten schoolchildren were injured when their school van fell into a paddy field near Chanthappura in Palakkad district on Monday. The incident occurred around 8: 30 am.
The injured were students of UKG and LKG of Palakkal English Medium School. The van fell into the paddy field when the driver was turning the vehicle in front of the school. The injured were admitted to district hospital. None of them sustained serious injuries.
