Titanium case: Detailed probe report sought

Monday, February 13, 2012: The Thiruvananthapuram Vigilance Court has today directed the Vigilance department to submit a detailed probe report in connection with the sensational Titanium corruption case on Friday.
The Court directed this while rejecting the Vigilance department’s plea seeking more time for the submission of the probe report. It is alleged that the corruption in connection with the sanctioning of the project is estimated to be Rs 256 crore.
There were corrupt practices in the purchase of equipment during the tenure of the previous UDF government.
