Friday, March 30, 2012: Students can now study up to VIII std without being detained. An order was issued not to detain students till class VIII.The State public education department has issued the circular as per the central Right to Education Act.
According to the education guidelines, Std 1 to stad VIII will come under one department, 1X and X under another section and X1 and X11 into a third section.
Education minister Abdu Rabb had informed on Thursday that the govt is deciding to make Std VIII and 1X as higher secondary and stop VHSC course.
