KOZHIKODE: In a significant development, the Special Investigation Team (SIT) probing the high-profile murder of Revolutionary Marxist Party leader T P Chandrasekharan has arrested three more prime suspects, including mastermind Kodi Suni, in the case.Sources said Suni, Kirmani Manoj and Mohammed Shafi, part of the seven member squad of assassins, were nabbed from a remote Mudakkozhi locality near Muzhakkunnu in Kannur district last night. They were arrested on tip-off from another hardcore criminal M C Anoop, who was arrested earlier.
The other prime accused already in police custody were T K Rajeesh and Sijith alias Annan Sijith. With this, the SIT was successful in nabbing six out of the seven-member gang, which allegedly executed the murder on May 4. The other person at large was Shinoj.
