KOVALAM: A DCC member and Congress activist died in an accident near here when the scooter they were riding was knocked down by a lorry. The deceased are local leader and DCC member Kovalam D Suresh, 56, from Kovalam Parayil Bungalow and Kovalam booth president P Sisupalan, 60, from Nedumam Prem Nivas. The incident happened at Kovalam Vellaru at 8:45 pm.
