Curbs on sale of surgical spirit
THRISSUR: The excise officials have given instruction to all medical shops not to sell surgical spirit without a prescription from doctors. The direction came against the backdrop of rampant misuse of spirit, as liquor shops are closed in connection with the Lok Sabha election.
