THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Advocate V K Prashanth has been selected as the Thiruvananthapuram mayor. He was the CPM candidate from the Kazhakoottam ward in the recently held civic polls. Decision regarding the next mayor was taken by CPM district committee on Friday.
In the election, he was the candidate who had won maximum votes.
