KOZHIKODE: Chief Minister Oommen Chandy asked those levelling allegations in the bar bribery case to come out with evidences. It is not right to ask the government to bring evidence after levelling baseless allegations. He said this while responding to the allegation of Biju Ramesh, bar association working president, against Excise Minister K Babu.
Probe in the bar case was held transparently. Those who levelled allegations have not produced any evidence so far. He said all are equal before law and rejected the allegation that justice was not the same for K M Mani and Minister K Babu.
Biju Ramesh had alleged that an amount of Rs one crore was handed over to Minister Babu in two installments.
