KOCHI: The crime branch informed the Kerala High Court that they will specially probe the allegation against SNDP Yogam general secretary Vellappally Natesan and his son Thushar Vellappally in connection with the death of Sivagiri Mutt chief Swamy Saswathikananda.
The crime branch also informed the court that the role of Priyan, hired to kill swamy and the role of Swamy Sookshmananda would be probed. The crime branch also told the court that an action plan has been formed to probe the swamy’s death.
Saswathikananda’s relatives allegation that he will not drown would also be probed. The injury seen on his forehead when the body was recovered from the pavement of the Aluva River would be probed. A decision has been taken to subject the clippings of autopsy procedures for scientific examination. The CBI informed their stand on the plea seeking a CBI probe in the case. A case was registered following the allegation of Biju Ramesh that Swamy was murdered by Priyan at the behest of Vellappally and his son.
