DYFI waves black flag at Mani

ADOOR: DYFI activists on Friday demonstrated their protest against former finance Minister K M Mani, who was on his way to Pala from his official residence.

During the reception accorded to him at Adoor, DYFI activists waved black flags at Mani and shouted slogans against him. Police reached the place and calmed down the protestors. Later they took out a march in the city.

Mani left his official house Prashanthi at 9 in the morning on Friday. Kerala Congress workers gave him warm receptions at stopovers on his way to Pala. When Mani and his motorcade reached Adoor, DYFI activists, shouting slogans and waving black flags showed up. Police were already deployed in the area and their timely intervention avoided further tension.
