THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Though Government Chief Whip Thomas Unniyadan also tendered his resignation along with K M Mani, the chief minister didn’t agree to accept his resignation. He said he would discuss the matter with Mani before taking a final decision on Unniyadan’s resignation.
While announcing his resignation, Unniyadan had said that he was resigning to express his solidarity and loyalty towards Mani. He also added he didn’t know others’ attitude.
Meanwhile, the DYFI activists took out a march to Cliff house after declaring blockade till Mani resigned. The blockade continued at Devaswom board junction when the police blocked their march there.
